Senior Business Analyst - Air Cargo Domain

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with specialized knowledge in the Air Cargo sector to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position requires in-depth understanding of air cargo operations and effective communication in both Arabic and English. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to ensure precise requirement gathering and successful project execution.

Key Duties

• Collect and document comprehensive business requirements from relevant stakeholders.
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications to facilitate development processes.
• Lead grooming sessions to clarify and refine requirements through active stakeholder engagement.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing, analyze defects, and contribute to release management activities.
• Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure project goals are met.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Deep knowledge of Air Cargo workflows including Export, Import, Air Waybill (AWB), Cargo Handling, and Warehouse Operations.
• Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Competency in using Jira and Confluence for managing projects and maintaining documentation.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and strong communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Hands-on experience in Cargo Ground Handling is mandatory; applicants lacking this will not be considered.
• Familiarity with data analysis methodologies and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment managing several priorities simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 5 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Air Cargo field.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
