Security Officer

About the Role

Starwood Hotels is looking for a composed and observant Loss Prevention Officer to help safeguard guests, hotel staff, and property. The role calls for someone who can assess risk quickly, respond appropriately in urgent situations, and follow company procedures while maintaining a professional presence.

What You’ll Do

You will help preserve a safe and secure environment across the hotel by watching for potential threats, handling incidents responsibly, and supporting the protection of people and assets. The position requires sound judgment, steady behavior under pressure, and strong alignment with hotel policies.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is genuinely committed to safety and security and has relevant prior experience in similar work. A post-secondary diploma, degree, or industry-related certification would be an added advantage. You should be attentive to detail, comfortable working as part of a team, and able to stay calm in stressful situations.

Working Conditions

This is a role in a 24-hour hotel operation, so flexibility is important and you should be prepared to meet varying business demands.
