Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master to lead multiple cross-functional development teams in delivering high-value solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Scrum certification and significant experience working with various teams, especially in system integration and migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Scrum Master for several development teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to keep product backlogs prioritized and actionable.
- Identify and remove blockers, promote continuous process improvements, and ensure teams meet sprint objectives.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.
- Manage dependencies and communication among development, QA, architecture, and DevOps teams.
- Support technical projects such as integrations and data migrations across teams.
- Monitor and report Agile performance metrics like velocity and burndown charts to drive enhancements.
- Encourage transparency, trust, and open communication within all teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master in software development settings.
- Experienced in managing multiple development groups using varied technologies.
- Proven track record with system integrations and migration initiatives.
- Hands-on familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or Jira for Agile workflow management.
- Strong skills in facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields preferred; equivalent experience also acceptable.
- Knowledge of scaled Agile frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus.
- Technical background or understanding of software engineering concepts beneficial.
- Experience in enterprise-level Agile environments involving multiple teams.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position in Massachusetts is $125,000 to $135,000 annually.
