Role Overview
The School Technical Officer will work in close collaboration with the Business Manager and College Principal to oversee the school's ICT network operations, aiming to improve student learning experiences. This is a permanent, full-time position with a remote working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Manage and support server hardware, configurations, and networking devices.
- Possess strong knowledge of PC desktop and laptop systems, Apple iPads, and printer maintenance.
- Provide remote support to servers and workstations within the educational setting using relevant tools.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Local and Wide Area Networks.
- Apply thorough knowledge of network security and protocols.
- Use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively within the school community.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- Collaborate efficiently within a team environment.
- Conduct research and implement innovative solutions to technical challenges.
