Job Overview

Belhaven Hill School is seeking a dependable, skilled School Minibus Driver responsible for transporting students during the academic term along scheduled local routes, as well as longer journeys on exeat weekends and at the beginning and end of terms. Driving opportunities for sports events on Wednesdays and Saturdays may also be available.

Key Responsibilities

The driver will join a small transportation team to operate morning and evening school bus services across designated routes in East Lothian. Additionally, every alternate weekend during term time, the role involves completing long-distance runs to other counties to transport boarding students going home for the weekend.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to both the Fleet Manager and the Estates Team Leader.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a valid, clean driving license including a D1 or PCV entitlement.
  • Eligibility to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme through Disclosure Scotland.

The role is based at Belhaven Hill School, Belhaven Road, Dunbar, East Lothian, EH42 1NN, Scotland.
