About the role
ZoomInfo is hiring a Research Specialist I to support the accuracy and depth of its sales intelligence data. In this role, you will research, verify, analyze, and maintain company firmographic details and executive contact information so the platform continues to deliver reliable, high-quality data.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and confirm company firmographics such as size, industry, and location.
- Find, validate, and update executive contact details including names, job titles, email addresses, and phone numbers.
- Safeguard data quality by applying strong attention to detail and following consistency standards.
- Work within research guidelines, privacy requirements, and confidentiality practices to protect operations and user trust.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to help improve and expand the sales intelligence database.
What we’re looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of business structures, executive roles, and common job titles.
- Comfort using LinkedIn, company websites, and company reports as research sources.
- Understanding of company size, organizational structure, location, industry classification, ownership type, and corporate relationships such as mergers, acquisitions, and parent-subsidiary links.
- Strong written and spoken business English communication skills.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, review tables, and interpret data to reach conclusions.
- High attention to detail and solid numerical aptitude.
