Role Overview

The Reporter position at MJS Investment is a full-time, on-site job located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The incumbent will be responsible for researching, compiling, and verifying information concerning MJS's restaurants, hospitality projects, and corporate happenings, crafting precise and engaging news-style articles.

Key Duties

• Conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders to gather detailed insights.
• Attend company events to identify and develop potential story ideas.
• Collaborate with internal teams to source newsworthy content.
• Write, edit, and produce reports, articles, and feature stories for both internal distribution and external publication.
• Support multimedia storytelling endeavors, such as handling photos and videos as required.

Requirements

• Proven reporting competencies, including thorough research, fact-checking, interviewing, and sourcing.
• Strong writing skills with an emphasis on news writing that is clear, accurate, and engaging.
• Effective communication abilities to liaise professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
• Basic multimedia proficiency in digital storytelling tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of journalistic ethics, accuracy protocols, and confidentiality standards.
• Capability to work on-site in Riyadh and efficiently handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
• Experience or interest in hospitality or lifestyle reporting, with familiarity with the Saudi media environment considered advantageous.
• Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills regarded as a plus.
