Job Overview
We are looking for an organized and committed Remote Appointment Scheduler to join Lawrence Hall’s administrative team full-time. This remote role acts as a vital connection point between children, youth, families, and our services, serving as the initial contact for many clients and ensuring appointment scheduling is smooth and supportive.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments efficiently across various services and clinicians.
- Manage and coordinate multiple calendars to optimize availability.
- Communicate with clients kindly, professionally, and promptly via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client appointments within the database.
- Send timely reminders and follow-ups to clients regarding appointments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of care and service delivery.
- Serve as the initial contact point, responding to inquiries and directing clients appropriately.
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards concerning client information.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in administrative, scheduling, or client support roles.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with effective time management.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities with a compassionate and professional phone manner.
- Proficiency using computers and scheduling software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Deep understanding of confidentiality principles when managing sensitive data.
- Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or social services sectors is a strong advantage.
