Role overview

MyIntegra is looking for a Support Coordinator to help NDIS participants understand and put their plans into action. The role is primarily remote, but the person in this position must be based in Hobart, Tasmania, as some in-person visits with participants will be needed.

Key duties

  • Support NDIS participants with carrying out their NDIS plans and linking them to the services and supports they need.
  • Handle the required administration to a high standard while staying fully compliant with expectations.
  • Build and sustain relationships with quasi-government organisations and disability-focused associations and groups.
  • Take responsibility for growing these networks and keeping them strong over time.
  • Represent MyIntegra in the market and build interest in NDIS support coordination, including delivering presentations to Local Area Coordinators, disability service providers, support groups, participants, and nominees.

About the candidate

The right person will show genuine empathy and care for people, be confident presenting information to groups and answering questions, and communicate clearly in both spoken and written form. Strong organisation and time management are important, along with the ability to attract potential clients, convert enquiries into leads, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. You should also be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating within a team.

Requirements

  • A current driver licence and the ability to travel to clients when needed.
  • Between 6 months and 1 year of experience working as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
  • Qualifications in Allied Health, or at minimum a Certificate IV in Allied Health, Disability, Aged Care, or a similar field.
  • Useful background or understanding of complex family health matters.
  • Ability to pass an NDIS Worker Screening Check and provide a valid Working with Children Check.
