About the Role and Company
Join Downer, a leader in delivering integrated services across Australia and New Zealand, where we design, build, and maintain crucial infrastructure and facilities. Our Rosehill RAP Processing Facility manages over 100,000 tonnes of waste each year, recovering up to 95% of materials for reuse in asphalt and civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Operator, you will bring your expertise in operating front end loaders and excavators to support our expanding operations team, adhering strictly to safety standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
- Demonstrated experience in operating Front End Loaders.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
- Truck/Rigid (Highway or Medium Rigid) Licence is highly valued.
- Mechanical skills for basic plant upkeep and fault diagnosis are advantageous.
- Previous exposure to recycling, waste management, manufacturing, or production settings is desirable.
- Strong dedication to Zero Harm and overall workplace safety.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Dependable with a positive, proactive attitude.
