About the Role
The Recruiting Lead is responsible for overseeing on-site recruiters and managing the end-to-end hiring processes to secure qualified employees aligned with current and future workforce needs for designated clients. This role involves coaching and mentoring recruiting staff, monitoring team progress, and collaborating with the recruiting team on candidate sourcing, selection, and placement activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Recruiting Lead is accountable for managing the recruiting team's performance, ensuring all orders are actively managed, clients are regularly updated, and standard recruiting practices are followed. Additional responsibilities include tracking key recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire and retention, advising managers on interview strategies, coordinating with clients to forecast hiring requirements, and updating or creating recruitment and onboarding processes. The role also emphasizes leveraging technology, introducing new sourcing techniques like social recruiting and Boolean searches, participating in job fairs, and expanding the company’s professional network by building partnerships with clients, HR professionals, and educational institutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring 3–5 years of recruiting experience with leadership capabilities. Proficiency with staffing Applicant Tracking Systems and conducting various interview methods (phone, in-person, video) is necessary. Familiarity with social and professional networks is expected. Essential skills include strong communication, team management, decision-making, multitasking, client requirements adherence, and the ability to navigate internal systems and provide constructive feedback. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
