Overview
This temporary position sits within a corporate legal environment in Auckland CBD and is intended to provide cover while the employer recruits for a permanent hire. The role is suited to someone who is comfortable representing the front of house, keeping the office running smoothly, and supporting senior staff with daily administrative needs.
Key duties
- Welcome clients and visitors in a professional manner and help create a polished first impression.
- Coordinate meeting rooms and assist with the flow of bookings and office spaces.
- Handle reception tasks and ensure day-to-day front desk operations are managed efficiently.
- Support the Office Manager and Partners with general administration and operational tasks.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the workplace by helping with routine office coordination.
Experience and personal attributes
- Prior experience in reception or corporate office support is preferred.
- You should be able to communicate well, present professionally, and interact confidently with a range of people.
- The environment can be busy, so staying calm, adaptable, and composed is important.
- Strong judgement and emotional awareness are needed when dealing with clients and office matters.
- A dependable, self-starting, and proactive approach will help you succeed in the role.
Working arrangement
This is an on-site position based in Auckland CBD. The working pattern is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Pay and engagement
