Overview

GovCIO is recruiting a Project Analyst to support the Health Technology Management Services (HTMS) team, providing contracted assistance to the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Information and Technology. The role involves backing the administrative and operational duties of the Project Manager within a fast-changing environment that demands adaptability and proactive problem-solving. This position is fully remote within the United States, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead meetings, prepare minutes, and manage follow-up actions as delegated by the Project Manager.
  • Support Project and Program Managers by preparing and updating reports and presentations pertinent to the supported product for the VA and GovCIO.
  • Assist in gathering responses for data calls.
  • Apply expertise in risk management to document and communicate potential project risks effectively.
  • Collect, produce, and distribute technical data between business and technical stakeholders to aid the Project/Program Manager.
  • Act as the primary communication link for product data needs, ensuring tasks are completed timely.
  • Maintain project documentation using tools like JIRA, Teams, and SharePoint as directed.
  • Provide backup assistance to the HTMS Project Manager when required.
  • Lead smaller projects as assigned.
  • Proactively anticipate repetitive tasks and prepare plans accordingly.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance existing workflows.

Qualifications

Compensation

The salary range offered is USD 110,000 to 115,000 annually.
