Project Executive

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Project Executive to oversee construction and design activities for launching new retail stores. This position is site-focused and demands meticulous attention to finishing details ensuring flawless execution of the interiors and fit-outs as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement store fit-outs guided by approved civil, interiors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen installation drawings (GFC).
• Ensure on-site execution precisely reflects the design intent including materials, color schemes, lighting, and detailing consistent with brand standards.
• Uphold exceptional workmanship by inspecting finishes such as tiling, painting, carpentry, cladding, and false ceilings throughout the project phases.
• Detect and address deviations from architectural drawings early in collaboration with architect and Project Manager to prevent costly rework.
• Manage snagging process by compiling detailed snag lists and ensuring contractors resolve all issues prior to handover.
• Coordinate daily with contractors, fabricators, and vendors to align on project scope, quality expectations, and timelines.
• Approve samples and mock-ups for critical finishes before mass execution.
• Track vendor performance, material deliveries, and resolve inter-agency site coordination challenges.
• Verify contractor measurements and bills against Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Monitor daily site progress relative to schedule and promptly report any delays or risks to Project Manager.
• Maintain thorough site documentation including photographs, quality checklists, trackers, and management information systems (MIS).

Compensation & Location

The salary package can be up to 450000 INR per annum. Travel allowances for office-related travel will be reimbursed. Primary work locations include Bengaluru and Mumbai.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 1 to 3 years of on-site execution experience in interior fit-outs, preferably within quick service restaurants (QSR), retail, food and beverage, or hospitality sectors.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting GFC, MEP, and detail drawings.
• Keen eye for finish quality, materials knowledge, and finishing standards.
• Proven skills managing vendors and contractors including negotiation, follow-ups, and quality assurance on-site.
• Preparedness to work full-time on-site, travel between cities, and meet demanding launch deadlines.
