Role overview
SPIC is seeking a mid-level Project Controller for its fertilizer manufacturing operations in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The role centers on keeping project plans on track, managing schedules, controlling costs, and supporting smooth execution across plant-related projects.
Key focus areas
- Build and maintain project schedules to support timely execution.
- Track project costs and help keep spending under control.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities to strengthen delivery quality.
- Work with contractors, vendors, and consultants to align project progress.
Experience and industry background
This position requires 8 to 15 years of experience, and that experience must come from the fertilizer industry.
Technical requirements
The ideal candidate should have a B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and be comfortable using project scheduling and control tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP PS.
Location and mobility
The role is based in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, and the candidate should be open to relocating there.
