Role Overview
The Production Assistant will work under the Creative Operations Consultant to aid in the management of photo and video productions for campaigns, lookbooks, e-commerce, and social media content. This role involves hands-on experience in all facets of fashion production, including pre-production, logistics, on-set activities, and post-production asset management. It is suited for those early in their careers who are passionate about fashion and content creation and can work calmly under pressure in a fast-moving setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production team in executing various shoots, coordinating with in-house producers and brand teams on requirements and timelines.
- Manage call sheets, schedules, crew communications, contracts, and invoices.
- Organize logistics including sourcing and booking locations and studios, travel and accommodation arrangements, props, and production services.
- Support risk assessments, health and safety documentation, and production paperwork.
- Maintain production equipment, supplies, and studio areas to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide on-set assistance by managing talent schedules, supporting shoot setup and pack-down, coordinating catering, and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle post-production organization such as logging raw footage, asset tracking, invoice management, and maintaining production archives.
- Administer freelancer and supplier databases, assist with scheduling, onboarding, and provide general administrative support to the Production team.
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, confident in liaising with diverse stakeholders including internal teams, freelancers, and creative partners.
- Self-motivated, problem solver who takes ownership of assigned tasks.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a high-pressure, creative environment with shifting priorities.
- Genuine enthusiasm for luxury fashion, creative content production, and related processes.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools such as Asana.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in production, studio assistance, creative marketing, or fashion-related roles.
- Background supporting photo or video shoots within a creative production setting.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or content management systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of fashion imagery workflows, including campaign production and e-commerce content.
