Product Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Product Designer to join SendCutSend and help develop impactful digital experiences aligned with customer needs. This position involves deeply understanding our products and manufacturing workflow, advocating for users, and crafting intuitive designs. A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise is essential and must be submitted with your application.

While this is a remote position, it requires quarterly travel to Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Champion the customer perspective to ensure digital products meet user needs and expectations.
• Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to design solutions from concept through implementation.
• Manage the full design process, including research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and handing off to developers.
• Conduct user research activities including interviews and usability testing to validate design choices.
• Develop interactive prototypes utilizing advanced AI tools and Figma.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to build high-quality user experiences.
• Use customer feedback and analytics to measure and improve design effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously refine user experience strategies.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• Proven experience designing complex web applications or SaaS products.
• Proficiency with design software including Figma and FigJam.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in user-centered, interaction, and visual design with measurable impact.
• Skill in simplifying complex concepts into clear, user-friendly interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a dedication to understanding the product, users, and manufacturing industry nuances.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate design iterations.
• Background in manufacturing or designing products for technical fields such as engineering, CAD, or industrial software.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain seated working at a computer for long durations.
• Comfortable using standard office equipment including computers and phones.
• Capacity to navigate office and manufacturing settings as necessary.

Work Environment

• This role takes place in a dynamic, collaborative setting requiring consistent communication across teams.
• Exposure to moderate noise, moving machinery, and typical industrial surroundings within manufacturing facilities.
