Role Overview

As a Product Designer at Hupo, you will be pivotal in crafting innovative AI interaction models that revolutionize how users engage with AI in professional settings. Your responsibilities encompass end-to-end product design ownership, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams from initial concept through to deployment, emphasizing novel AI experiences rather than modifying existing interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete design cycles for primary product segments, including problem identification, research, concept exploration, prototyping, and delivering refined implementations.
• Create unique AI interaction paradigms, such as agentic workflows, streaming outputs, uncertainty management, human-in-the-loop mechanisms, and prompting systems.
• Conduct user research by engaging directly with end users and analyzing product data to discern behaviors and pain points, championing user centricity.
• Collaborate intimately with Product and Engineering from the outset to influence feature selection and shape product functionality beyond visual aesthetics.
• Rapidly prototype concepts to clarify ambiguous ideas, evaluate alternatives, and mitigate risks before significant development time investment.
• Enhance and expand the agentic design system, developing reusable design components to support scalable product growth.

• Proven background in designing innovative AI product interactions with informed perspectives on AI design trends.
• Strong ownership mentality focused on achieving impactful outcomes rather than solely completing tasks.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, flexible environments and contributing to process evolution.
• Skilled craftsperson with proficiency in creating scalable design systems and reusable components elevating product standards.
• Clear, logical communication capable of articulating design rationale and engaging diverse stakeholders effectively.
