• Confirm all produce items are correctly priced and labeled according to established protocols for ordering, discounts, and signage.
• Adhere strictly to food safety practices, including temperature monitoring, sanitation, proper handling, and compliance with sell-by dates.
• Stock and downstock merchandise as necessary, implement product protection measures, and arrange modular displays, including flex modulars and shelf caps, to keep inventory complete.
• Follow workplace health and safety policies to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by accepting various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business demands.

Challenges Associated With This Role

• Managing a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, while maintaining focus and energy.
• Handling physically demanding duties such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and sometimes up to 50 lbs.
• Performing repetitive tasks with attention to detail to maintain the visual standards of the store.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.
