Procurement Specialist

Ecolab is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join their team in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update master data linked to assigned purchased goods and services while adhering to departmental procedures and exploring automation opportunities.
• Gather and verify data from internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage pricing for assigned goods and services and investigate blocked invoices to identify causes and resolve issues.
• Implement prompt corrective actions for errors and recommend process changes to prevent future mistakes.
• Issue purchase orders for assigned goods and services.
• Perform data entry tasks into databases or ERP systems, handling confidential supplier or business information with care.
• Ensure compliance with purchase-to-pay policies and actively participate in compliance audits.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Note: Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Familiarity with systems such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and ERP platforms like SAP.
• Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to develop strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience working within structured processes and proposing improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Understanding of procurement business processes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Additional Information

The work shift is from 4 PM to 1 AM.
