Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organized Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials essential for seamless business operations. This position involves coordinating suppliers, processing purchase requests efficiently, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure all necessary materials, supplies, and services to support company operations.
• Promptly process authorized purchase requests and issue purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Monitor outstanding orders, identifying and resolving any procurement issues proactively.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate procurement records and related documentation.
• Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships to optimize sourcing.
• Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies while upholding quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• At least two years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Prior exposure to FMCG or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and record management proficiency.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and procurement monitoring tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, responsibility, and ownership mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly base salary of ₦300,000.
