Role Summary

We seek a Print Assistant to join our production team with a unique work schedule offering a 3-day week, 36-hour total, allowing four days off weekly. This position involves operating finishing machines, performing quality checks, and supporting production tasks in a friendly and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations including sorting, packaging, labeling, and manual lifting tasks.
• Operate finishing equipment specifically the TXR machine.
• Inspect products to ensure high quality and identify any defects.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational guidelines to maintain smooth workflow.
• Address issues promptly and develop new skills throughout the process.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in packing or production is advantageous.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Ability to accurately distinguish all colors, essential for label quality inspection.
• Keen attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining product standards.
• Basic mechanical skills and eagerness to learn.
• Strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Access to reliable transport and valid Australian work rights.

Working Conditions

• Work schedule includes 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis every two weeks between day shifts (6am to 6pm) and night shifts (6pm to 6am).
• Work three days per week, offering four days off to balance work and personal life.
