Pricing Associate Principal - Google Cloud (English, French)

About the Role

The Deal Pricing and Monetization (DPM) team plays a crucial role in shaping and executing Google Cloud Platform's (GCP) strategy to secure large, complex agreements at appropriate price points and scale. As a member of DPM, you will be tasked with structuring sizable, intricate agreements—often worth millions or billions—and designing go-to-market constructs that align with customer requirements while advancing GCP's business goals, profitability, and mitigating risks. Responsibilities include grasping detailed customer needs, optimizing product solutions for differentiation, and defining commercial terms to maintain sound economics. This role involves close collaboration with multiple departments including Sales, Product, Finance, and Sales Operations to manage partnerships from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage deep knowledge of GCP, the cloud industry, and financial analytics to develop winning agreement strategies fitting customer demands at scale.
• Resolve complex challenges related to business and agreement specifics by coordinating with Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to enhance GTM strategies, policies, and sales approaches.
• Engage with senior executives on both internal and client sides, up to CEO level, to ensure alignment and drive business results.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving critical performance areas of DPM such as business growth, profitability, agreement processing speed, risk control, and simplification of processes.
• Develop expertise in key areas while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and growth efforts within the DPM organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least six years’ experience in managing agreement pricing with business clients, preferably involving infrastructure B2B pricing or business strategy.
• Fluency in both English and French to effectively manage client relationships in the region.
• Preferred experience includes business strategy development in technology contexts such as management consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or product management and operations.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and digital transformation sectors.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills with the ability to interpret data into actionable business recommendations.
• Capacity to navigate dynamic and ambiguous environments using systematic problem-solving approaches.
• Proven ability to collaborate with high-level executives and customers, with strong project management, presentation, and communication skills.

Compensation details for Ireland include a salary range of €118,000 to €120,000 annually, a 15% bonus target, equity packages, and benefits.
