Pricing Analyst

Overview

Join Etihad's dynamic pricing team responsible for managing the comprehensive cargo network pricing and offer management to meet revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute seasonal pricing strategies in collaboration with the regional commercial teams, factoring in market forecasts and Etihad Cargo’s business targets. Establish pricing segmented by flow, rate type, customer, and product, and identify opportunities for tactical pricing promotions.
• Create and manage offers for assigned cargo routes, assess their performance, and implement necessary adjustments.
• Oversee governance and monitor price and capacity allocation performance.
• Assist and challenge regional commercial teams to help achieve their revenue goals.
• Carry out research and analytical studies to uncover regional opportunities and risks, utilizing both internal and external data sources and commercial feedback.
• Review, evaluate, and approve spot rates aligning with current trends and shipment needs, ensuring an optimal contribution margin for Etihad Cargo.
• Analyze route performance and take required actions to maintain load factors at target levels with the ideal business mix.
• Develop pricing proposals for participation in global customer tenders, advising the commercial management team on negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate across departments to support new product launches, strategic initiatives, and system improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in revenue management or a related analytical field.
• Strong understanding of revenue management principles, pricing methodologies and modeling, Cargo Revenue Management Systems, and flight planning.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with sound decision-making abilities.
• Numerically proficient and comfortable handling complex systems.
