Position Overview

The President of Data Link Institute, Tema, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is accountable to the Governing Council as both the academic and administrative leader of the institution. This role includes responsibility as the Chief Disciplinary Officer with authority over staff and students in accordance with the Institute's statutes. The President leads initiatives to achieve the strategic goals, vision, and mission of the Institute, striving for academic and professional excellence. Financial stewardship and human resource management also fall under the President's duties.

Term and Appointment

• The initial appointment term is four years, with the possibility of a single renewal for an additional two years.
• Compensation and fringe benefits are competitive and open to negotiation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a terminal degree or its equivalent through professional experience.
• Minimum of eight years in senior management roles within tertiary education or related industry sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in inspiring, managing, and directing staff.
• A visionary and goal-driven leader capable of fostering partnerships with industry for academic and professional development.
• Extensive background in administration, academic leadership, and financial management within tertiary institutions.
• Demonstrated integrity, creativity, innovation, and sound judgment.
• Ability to effectively represent and enhance the Institute's image internally and externally.
