Job Responsibilities
- Prepare garments by hanging them for processing through the steam tunnel.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of all garments to identify tears, holes, stains, or any damage.
- Ensure each garment meets UniFirst's 10-point uniforms inspection standards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and training guidelines during operations.
- Perform additional assigned duties as necessary to support team objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication to effectively interact with supervisors.
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction of two-digit numbers, and multiplication and division with factors of 10 and 100.
- Ability to work with American standard units for weight, volume, and distance measurements.
- Physical capability to lift items up to 10 pounds and push loads up to 25 pounds.
