Job description
Role Overview
The PR & Events Officer is tasked with orchestrating and delivering comprehensive public relations activities and organizing group-wide events for Fakeeh Care Group. The position ensures robust media interactions, seamless event execution, and consistent brand communication aligned with the Group's strategic direction and messaging guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement public relations strategies in harmony with the Group's communication policies and branding standards.
- Collaborate with Group Digital Marketing and Communications to develop and oversee press releases, media stories, corporate announcements, and success narratives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for media relations, managing press engagements, interviews, and media presence.
- Lead the planning and execution of major Group events such as conferences, exhibitions, forums, graduations, and strategic activations.
- Manage all facets of event logistics including timelines, vendor coordination, branding, content development, and onsite delivery.
- Work collaboratively with creative, digital, and media production teams to assure integrated PR and event outcomes.
- Ensure all PR materials, event messaging, and public communications adhere strictly to brand guidelines and authorized narratives.
- Supervise external PR agencies, event suppliers, and partners ensuring quality, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of PR and event initiatives by evaluating media coverage, audience reach, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Compile detailed reports and insights on PR and event outcomes for leadership appraisal.
- Support crisis communication efforts and sensitive public initiatives with Group leadership.
- Identify and capitalize on prospects for improving PR exposure, event effectiveness, and engagement with stakeholders.
- Manage the PR and event budget following approved plans and organizational policies.
- Perform additional related duties as required within the job scope.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in public relations, media coordination, and event management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills complemented by exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven capability to handle multiple PR campaigns and event projects concurrently.
- Excellent organizational prowess, advanced planning aptitude, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with PR and event management software tools.
Professional Experience
- Between two to three years of relevant experience in PR, communications, or event management spheres, preferably within healthcare, service industries, or large corporate environments.
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or an allied discipline.
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both spoken and written, is essential.
