Position Overview
The European Institute of Policy Research and Human Rights AISBL is offering a remote part-time internship for a Policy Researcher. This opportunity spans 8 weeks and is geared towards individuals passionate about policy research, human rights, governance, international relations, law, public policy, and affiliated disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive literature reviews on assigned topics related to policy, legal studies, human rights, governance, or international relations.
- Create research summaries, issue notes, and analytical briefs highlighting key findings.
- Engage in periodic online sessions for guidance and supervision.
- Develop a research paper, policy brief, or analytical report under mentorship.
- Revise and improve written materials based on supervisor feedback and academic standards.
- Adhere to deadlines within a remote working framework.
- Maintain strict compliance with ethical research practices, citation norms, originality standards, and academic integrity.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral students, recent graduates, or alumni from accredited universities.
- Suitable for early-career professionals interested in research and policy analysis.
- Ideal candidates include those from law, human rights, international relations, political science, public policy, governance, social sciences, management, business, economics, education, environmental studies, medicine, engineering, and related fields.
- Applicants should possess proficiency in written English and a strong interest in relevant policy areas.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and incorporate supervisor feedback effectively.
Additional Details
No previous research publication is required. The program entails a four-week training in research methodology followed by a four-week research and writing phase. Selected candidates will receive detailed guidance on internship structure, schedules, and supervision.
