Policy Analyst

About the Role

We are actively looking for a motivated Policy Analyst to join our expanding public policy team. This position is suited for candidates with 2 to 3 years of professional experience who are passionate about monitoring international regulatory and legislative changes and delivering strategic policy insights to support corporate decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and examine political, regulatory, and legislative updates from various global regions.
• Conduct thorough research and provide clear, actionable policy evaluations that identify potential business implications.
• Develop briefings, reports, and updates for internal teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align policy insights with company goals and priorities.
• Contribute to refining policy tracking processes, workflows, and analytical tools.
• Remain informed on global policy trends, emerging regulations, and legislative activity.
• Support initiatives for transparency reporting ensuring compliance with frameworks and reporting standards.
• Leverage AI-driven research and monitoring platforms to synthesize regulatory and policy developments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Government, Law, Economics, or a closely related field.
• 2 to 3 years experience in public policy, government affairs, regulatory analysis, consulting, or related research roles.
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret complex regulatory, policy, and legal documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience preparing reports, briefs, or policy summaries.
• Strong interest in global political, legislative, and regulatory matters.
• Well-developed organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks in dynamic settings.
• Experience with policy tracking tools, research databases, or legislative monitoring platforms is advantageous.
• High attention to detail with ability to analyze source documents and policy materials to produce precise insights.
• Preferred: Background in regulatory intelligence, public affairs, or policy research initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled research and monitoring technologies.
• Capability to convert complex policy developments into actionable business strategies.

Additional Information

The role is offered on a temporary basis and requires onsite presence in Hanover, MD. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
