About the Role

As a Picker at Booker, you will play a vital role in exceeding customer expectations by working across various areas within the store. Your tasks will range from replenishing shelves, operating tills, managing stock levels, to preparing deliveries. Every day presents new opportunities, and every action you take directly impacts customer satisfaction through swift and accurate service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and dispatch goods using a handheld terminal, promptly reporting discrepancies to the Manager.
• Inspect products for quality, verify shelf life, and ensure packaging is secure and suitable for delivery.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting set targets.
• Maintain professionalism and politeness when interacting with delivery personnel, addressing inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.

Requirements

• Possess a can-do mindset and comfort with meeting designated picking productivity rates.
• Be passionate about customer service and willing to contribute extra effort to serve customers effectively.
• Consistently exhibit punctuality and maintain appropriate presentation standards.
