Job Overview

The Physiotherapist position involves evaluating patients’ rehabilitation needs, crafting tailored therapy plans, delivering treatment, and tracking progress. The therapist collaborates with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive care and also contributes to community education and staff training initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations to determine patients' physical therapy needs.
• Create individualized rehabilitation plans with specific goals, treatment approaches, expected outcomes, and discharge strategies.
• Deliver therapy sessions adhering to the designed care plan, effectively addressing patient requirements.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans where necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation within the Electronic Medical System daily, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in marketing efforts and community education to promote rehabilitation services and raise awareness.
• Develop and deliver in-service training and educational programs to staff, enhancing performance and knowledge.
• Provide consultations to other facility staff on physical therapy methods and current best practices.
• Perform professional patient screenings and utilize evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, and recovery.
• Undertake additional duties related to the physiotherapist role as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure to practice physical therapy in Saudi Arabia (SCFHS certification).
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, ideally within rehabilitation or hospital settings.
• Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnosis.
• Capability to design and implement effective individualized rehab plans.
• Proficiency in meticulous documentation and patient record management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to educate patients and colleagues.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques and best practices.
