Phlebotomist – Home Collection

About the Role

Join Thyrocare Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Phlebotomist specializing in home collection services. You will be responsible for safely collecting blood samples and performing ECGs at patients' residences, ensuring the proper handling and timely delivery of samples to the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct blood sample collection using Vacutainer and other appropriate methods accurately and safely at patient homes.
• Perform ECG procedures as required during home visits.
• Label, barcode, and document each sample meticulously.
• Maintain the cold chain rigorously to preserve sample quality throughout transportation.
• Provide patients with clear explanations regarding test procedures and fasting requirements when necessary.
• Adhere to scheduled visits and ensure punctuality.

Eligibility and Experience

• Must hold a DMLT or MLT certification; candidates with B.Sc Nursing or GNM are also eligible.
• At least six months of hands-on experience with Vacutainer blood collection is essential.
• Experience in conducting home collections is desirable.
• Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel within the designated area in Chennai.

Additional Details

• Guaranteed minimum collection of 170 samples per month with remuneration of Rs.150 per sample.
• Work timings: Full-time (6 AM to 2 PM) or Part-time (6 AM to 11 AM).
• Position located across Chennai.
