Role Summary
Joining MicroVision's People Operations team, you will play a vital role working collaboratively with employees and leadership to effectively support business needs. This role encompasses comprehensive HR administration responsibilities, benefits management, employee engagement, and system oversight, requiring a versatile generalist skilled across all areas of People Operations to facilitate daily functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service by promptly addressing employee inquiries and supporting managers.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HRIS data and coordinate employee data changes with payroll and IT.
- Manage and update People Operations workflows, documentation, and processes.
- Administer employee benefits, including processing changes, invoice reconciliation, and communicating updates.
- Handle leaves of absence administration.
- Coordinate immigration documentation in collaboration with legal advisors.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Contribute to Safety Team activities, including meetings and other safety initiatives.
- Assist in organizing employee events, programs, and training sessions.
- Conduct onboarding, offboarding, new hire orientations, and support employee engagement efforts.
- Collaborate with recruiting to align positions within the compensation framework and help maintain compensation structures.
- Work closely with the Germany People Operations team to standardize practices across locations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of pertinent experience, or an equivalent educational and professional combination.
- Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
- Experience conducting HR functions within a technology-driven company.
- Proficiency in administering employee benefit programs.
- Prior experience in a startup environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms is desirable.

Work Arrangement
MicroVision offers a flexible work schedule potentially including a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement based on team and business requirements. Individual schedules depend on management's discretion and operational needs. Candidates must reside within commuting distance to the Orlando, FL office.
