Position Overview
The role of Pediatrician is a full-time, on-location position at Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering both general and specialized medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, physical exams, diagnostic assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing therapies, tracking patient progress, and maintaining thorough medical documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage both routine and complex pediatric health conditions through comprehensive patient consultations and examinations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and prescribe appropriate treatments for various pediatric illnesses.
- Monitor ongoing patient health and update medical records accurately.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals for integrated patient care.
- Provide care and support for neonatal patients as part of multidisciplinary neonatal care pathways.
- Educate families on preventive healthcare including vaccinations, growth milestones, and overall child wellness.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong medical foundation in Pediatrics with expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and management of infant, child, and adolescent health.
- Familiarity or experience in Neonatology and neonatal care protocols.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent), completed pediatric residency, and board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Valid practicing license or eligibility to practice Pediatrics in the UAE, compliant with local regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with children and families that reflect empathy, clear information delivery, and cultural sensitivity.
- Dedication to evidence-based medical practices, continuous education, and adherence to institutional policies and safety measures.
