The role also covers adjustments, departures, back payments, and other out-of-cycle payments, along with maintaining clean payroll records and supporting compliance and audit activities.
Key Duties
- Run full payroll processing activities from start to finish so pay runs are accurate and completed on time.

- Respond to payroll questions from employees and internal stakeholders with timely, professional support.
- Make sure payroll practices align with tax, superannuation, award, and other legal obligations.
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements connected to payroll governance.

Accuracy, resilience under pressure, and strong relationship-building skills are important, as is the ability to manage confidential information carefully. Familiarity with payroll systems and involvement in system improvement projects will be an advantage.
