Role Overview and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Advertising Manager, you will develop expertise in campaign strategy, reporting, and optimization, gradually taking ownership of specific areas as your experience expands. Your core duties include:
- Managing and optimizing Amazon Sponsored Ads campaigns across various marketplaces.
- Daily monitoring of campaign effectiveness and adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting accordingly.
- Evaluating ad performance to uncover growth potential and increase efficiency.
- Conducting keyword research and assisting with the launch of new advertising campaigns.
- Generating regular performance reports and sharing insights with the wider ecommerce team.
- Collaborating with merchandising and content teams to support new product launches and promotional activities.
- Performing routine account health assessments to confirm campaigns meet expected performance standards.
- Testing emerging advertising methods and features introduced by Amazon.
- Contributing to broader advertising, reporting, and marketplace initiatives as needed.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Approximately 1 to 2 years of experience in Amazon Advertising or a comparable digital marketing role.
- Strong grasp of Amazon Sponsored Ads and hands-on experience with campaign optimization.
- Sound analytical abilities to interpret performance metrics effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including usage of PivotTables and formulas.
- High attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
Desirable Attributes
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central platforms.
- Exposure to Amazon DSP or motivation to develop knowledge in this area.
- Experience utilizing reporting tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio.
- Basic understanding of Python, AI tools, or advertising automation technologies.
- Previous work experience in an ecommerce retailer setting.
