The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in administratively supporting the Otter Relations functions to enhance employee engagement and candidate experience. This role upholds a people-centric, performance-driven, inclusive culture aligned with our core values while delivering exceptional support to all employees.

Key Responsibilities
- Champion a positive work environment by consistently embodying our core values.
- Serve as the initial contact for HR questions from employees across multiple countries, supporting a hybrid and remote workforce.
- Forge strong relationships with stakeholders, offering responsive and business-aligned HR assistance in a distributed setting.
- Manage comprehensive HR processes such as onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee engagement.
- Coordinate the payroll process monthly and biweekly, collaborating with external providers and internal teams.
- Oversee employee benefits throughout their employment, handling queries, record maintenance, and vendor communication to ensure compliance.
- Maintain thorough employee documentation including HRIS data, absence tracking, payroll, benefits, and other records.
- Implement internal workplace policies in collaboration with management and legal to ensure adherence to laws and company standards.
- Support internal and external audit procedures as necessary.
- Assist in recruitment activities including job postings, candidate sourcing and communications, interview coordination, offer creation, and enhancing the candidate experience.
- Support workforce planning efforts such as succession planning, talent management, training assessments, and compensation reviews.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to facilitate organizational development, recruitment initiatives, and local implementation of global programs.
- Prioritize and organize workload to ensure timely replies, proactive communication, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Promote a safe working environment by following safety policies and engaging in health and safety trainings and documentation.
- Utilize training resources to stay informed of market trends and professional development opportunities.
- Continuously seek process improvements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help nurture a culture of operational excellence focused on customer service, process optimization, and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Management is required; HR-related degrees are preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
- At least one year of practical HR experience is necessary; relevant internships or placements count as well.
- Basic knowledge of HR laws, procedures, and principles is essential.
- Proven professional, inclusive, and confidential approach in managing employee information.
- Experience with HRIS systems and dashboard tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software.
- Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining quality.
