About TheirCare and the Role
Established in 2017, TheirCare has expanded from a single Melbourne service to a national leader in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) and Holiday Programs across Australia. We specialise in supporting children and young people with complex disabilities, providing inclusive, safe, and supportive environments. This opportunity is for an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead the program at Phoenix Primary School, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement stimulating care programs for children aged 5 to 12 years.
- Serve as the primary representative of TheirCare within the school community, fostering positive relationships.
- Lead and mentor the OSHC team, encouraging skill development and professional growth.
- Manage compliance and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Collaborate with families, school staff, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored care that meets individual needs.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum one year’s relevant experience in roles involving team leadership within disability, education, or community sectors.
- Demonstrated passion for positively impacting children's lives and ability to build strong, nurturing relationships.
- Competence in behavioural management, especially for children with complex needs.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Compliance
- Completed or actively pursuing an ACECQA-accredited qualification related to Teaching, Childcare, Community Services, or similar fields.
- Possession of a valid Working with Children Check corresponding to your state.
- Willingness to acquire HLTAID012 First Aid certification for childcare settings, relevant food safety and mandatory reporting certifications, along with a recent National Criminal History Check (within six months).
Employment Details
- Part-time position based onsite at Phoenix Primary School, 28 Phoenix Road, Hamilton Hill WA 6163.
- Work hours: Monday through Friday, no weekend shifts required.
- Annual salary: $81,742.
