About the Role
We are collaborating with a dynamic and expanding organisation that requires a seasoned Operations & Outsourcing Manager to enhance their third-party provider governance and oversight processes. This permanent full-time position, based in Dublin with a hybrid remote working option, entails managing day-to-day operations along with broader responsibilities including reporting, lifecycle management, and overseeing operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise outsourced service providers' activities, ensuring any operational issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
- Oversee valuation and reconciliation processes, investigating exceptions, pricing challenges, and any discrepancies together with the relevant parties.
- Maintain and support the outsourcing governance framework encompassing risk assessments, documentation, and board-level reporting.
- Coordinate operational duties related to regulatory and client reporting requirements.
- Drive operational improvement projects including change initiatives, automation efforts, and data-driven reporting enhancements.
- Participate in maintaining operational resilience, managing incidents, and ensuring business continuity within operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of seven years' experience in operations, outsourcing, or related roles within regulated sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of operational risk, control mechanisms, and third-party provider governance.
- Track record of managing service providers, performing due diligence, and assessing KPI and SLA performance.
- Strong analytical thinking, superior organisational capability, and effective stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with experience in preparing senior management and board reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with automation, data handling, or workflow software is a distinct plus.
