Operations Manager (Process)

Role Overview

This position is part of a collaboration between hackajob and Revolut to find strong professionals for an Operations Manager role focused on process improvement. Revolut is a fast-scaling global fintech company offering products across spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more to over 70 million customers worldwide.

About the Team

Within Revolut, Operations is centered on solving difficult business problems at scale. The function builds efficient systems, improves workflows, and supports expansion across global markets with speed and precision.

The team is looking for an Operations Manager who can drive high-impact initiatives, improve how the business runs, and use structured analysis to create better outcomes for customers and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive ongoing improvement programmes by spotting inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, and applying Lean Six Sigma methods across the business.
• Create and roll out standard operating processes and automated solutions that can support continued growth.
• Review current workflows, identify gaps, and implement practical changes that improve efficiency and scalability.
• Use data analysis to uncover improvement opportunities, guide decisions, and strengthen overall business performance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will have a strong academic background, a logical approach to problem-solving, and significant hands-on experience in engineering or other structured, KPI-focused settings. They should be able to work with complex challenges, break them into manageable parts, and improve processes in a measurable way.

Requirements

• A minimum 2:1 degree from a leading university.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in engineering.
• Background in a structured environment that is focused on KPIs.
• Very strong logical reasoning and excellent attention to detail.
• A curious mindset and motivation to create measurable impact.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
• Clear understanding of scalable process design, automation tools, and standardisation.
• Ability to use data to identify root causes, track performance, and improve processes.
• Skill in turning complex problems into smaller, actionable tasks.

Nice to Have

• A degree in a STEM field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, economics, or finance.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, or consulting.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Familiarity with methods such as value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and 8D.
• Exposure to automation tools such as RPA.
