Role overview
This contract opportunity is for a .NET Engineer working remotely. The position is focused on using strong practical engineering knowledge to support the training of advanced AI systems. Your background in real-world software development will help improve how the models respond, reason, and perform.
No direct experience in AI is needed. The emphasis is on deep domain expertise in .NET, C#, cloud platforms, and backend engineering.
What you will do
- Apply advanced .NET and C# knowledge to deliver domain-specific guidance and solutions for a variety of technical scenarios.
- Review, assess, and refine model responses connected to .NET, C#, AWS, and Azure.
- Work remotely with a distributed group of specialists and contribute to ongoing improvements in AI model quality.
- Prepare, check, and improve code examples, architecture visuals, and technical documentation so the training data remains accurate and useful.
- Contribute established practices for scalable backend systems, cloud-based integration, and modern software architecture.
- Explain technical ideas clearly in both written and spoken form to audiences with mixed technical backgrounds.
- Spot areas where the model lacks understanding and recommend practical fixes drawn from hands-on engineering experience.
Skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate brings substantial production experience with .NET and C#, along with solid working knowledge of AWS and Azure. You should be comfortable handling complex technical problems, working independently in a remote environment, and collaborating effectively with a customer-facing team. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to produce maintainable backend solutions are important. Familiarity with current .NET tools, frameworks, and industry practices is also expected.
Preferred background
Extra value will be given to candidates who have contributed to AI, machine learning, or other data-driven work. Experience on large-scale cloud applications with distributed teams is also useful, as is familiarity with DevOps methods and CI/CD pipelines in .NET settings.
