OptimumChoice is an expanding NDIS support provider focused on delivering high-quality, participant-centric care. The company is launching a new hub in Townsville, Queensland, offering secure permanent roles to enhance workforce stability and participant outcomes.
Role Overview
The NDIS Service Coordinator based in Townsville acts as the operational core for the local team, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery of support services tailored to participants' NDIS goals and funding arrangements.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily service delivery for NDIS participants, ensuring alignment with individual plans and funding.
- Manage support worker rostering and scheduling, strictly following SCHADS Award standards such as fatigue management and travel time allowances.
- Support onboarding of participants by preparing and reviewing Service Agreements and support plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison for participants, their families, Support Coordinators, and Plan Managers.
- Provide leadership and continuous guidance to frontline Support Workers.
- Utilize care management software (e.g., ShiftCare, Astalty) to maintain timesheets, case notes, and billing processes.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a Service Coordinator role or similar administrative positions within NDIS or disability services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NDIS Pricing Arrangements, compliance, and SCHADS Award regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
- Highly organized and proactive in resolving last-minute scheduling or participant support challenges.
- Technologically adept, capable of quickly learning integrated NDIS management software.
