About the Role
This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with backgrounds in business, finance, or related fields seeking to begin a career in the mortgage sector. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting families to purchase homes by serving as the link between borrowers, sales staff, and underwriting teams, ensuring a smooth and supportive home buying experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent communication and deliver outstanding customer service to homebuyers, branch staff, and Homebuilding teams throughout the loan process.
- Handle multiple loan files simultaneously to meet processing deadlines.
- Accurately collect and record customer details promptly, guaranteeing compliant and timely mortgage loan file management.
- Verify that each loan file is complete and accurate before forwarding to the closing department.
- Initiate loan files both manually and through computer systems.
- Follow up on submitted and pending loan applications as necessary.
- Assist in coordinating closing documentation and related tasks when required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
