Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-focused Data Analyst with 3 to 5 years of experience who can transform data into actionable business decisions. Beyond technical aptitude, you should excel at formulating relevant questions, conveying insights clearly, and accelerating decision-making using modern AI and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret data to detect trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Convey findings to colleagues in a straightforward manner
• Assist with forecasting and predictive modeling projects
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual data presentations utilizing Tableau and SQL
• Design and maintain data workflows to support reports and analytics
• Collaborate with business units to define goals and deliver data-driven answers
• Conduct detailed analysis on metrics like pull-through rates, turnaround times, and marketing campaign performance

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or related discipline
• 3–5 years experience in Data Analyst or Data Scientist roles, ideally within mortgage origination or loan servicing
• Proficient in SQL and Tableau
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
• Business acumen with the ability to link data insights to business outcomes
• Excellent communication skills to influence through data presentation
• Experience with predictive modeling and Python is advantageous

Industry Expertise

• Familiarity with mortgage origination processes including CRM, underwriting, and servicing operations
• Experience analyzing operational KPIs such as pull-through rates and turnaround times
• Understanding of mortgage market trends and strategic implications

Technical Expertise

• Strong skills in Tableau, Excel, SQL and other Business Intelligence tools
• Preferred experience with Python, SAS, or R for advanced analytics
