Job Overview

The Mobile Repair Technician will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, refurbishing, testing, and grading used smartphones. Candidates should have solid experience with iPhone and Android devices refurbishment and be capable of returning devices to near-new quality through meticulous repairs and cosmetic upgrades.

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and functionality issues in smartphones.
• Repair and refurbish various smartphone components to restore full operational capability.
• Replace defective parts such as screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, microphones, buttons, back glass, and other hardware.
• Perform cosmetic refurbishments to enhance the devices’ appearance to company standards.
• Grade smartphones accurately based on their cosmetic and functional state.
• Conduct thorough quality assurance tests and functionality checks before approving devices.
• Identify and procure appropriate replacement parts needed for repairs.
• Keep detailed documentation on repairs, testing outcomes, and refurbishment processes.
• Estimate repair needs and material requirements for refurbishment jobs.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and workstations in optimal condition.
• Stay informed on new smartphone models and repair techniques.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality guidelines during refurbishment work.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily refurbishment goals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or certification in mobile phone repair, electronics, or relevant technical fields.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in smartphone refurbishment or repair roles.
• Prior employment in refurbishment companies, mobile repair workshops, or certified service centers is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary between 35,000 and 40,000 INR, dependent on experience.
