Middleware Administrator

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a global leader in technology solutions, committed to fostering growth and innovation. We seek an experienced Middleware Administrator with expertise in WebSphere and JBoss to join our team in Kolkata.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure JBoss EAP versions 5.2, 6.x, and 7.x along with jboss-ews-httpd-2.0 module.
• Manage and maintain JBoss EAP clusters including vertical and horizontal scaling for highly available environments.
• Deploy applications such as JAR, WAR, and EAR files using the Admin console and command-line interface (CLI).
• Handle all stages of deployment lifecycle, including pre-deployment preparations, deployment execution, and post-deployment validations.
• Administer clustered high-availability middleware setups ensuring robustness and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong familiarity with Linux operating system and administration.
• In-depth understanding of JBOSS and Apache Tomcat application servers.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting to automate system tasks.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices including Jenkins, GIT, GitHub, Ansible, Maven, and Chef.

Additional Information

Experience requirement ranges from 5 to 8 years. The position is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India and requires onsite presence.
