Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Middle Product Designer to join our team and influence user experiences across intricate, highly regulated product areas. This position involves designing seamless user interactions, collaborating with diverse teams, and emphasizing design principles central to product creation. You will also help develop and uphold our shared design system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design lifecycle from initial research through wireframing, prototyping, and producing high-fidelity mockups for features within regulated and complex sectors such as pricing, chargebacks, and Medicaid-style workflows.
  • Maintain and extend components within an established design system by following scalable and consistent design patterns across different products.
  • Create intuitive, attractive user interfaces focusing on interaction design, including clear dashboards and data visualizations tailored to relevant user KPIs.
  • Ensure design decisions align with both product objectives and user requirements, being able to justify these decisions to stakeholders and engineers.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders by taking part in design workshops and collective problem-solving sessions.
  • Incorporate AI-driven tools consistently into daily design processes to increase efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in product design, showcasing a diverse portfolio with strengths in visual design, interaction design, and product-centric thinking, preferably in regulated or complex sectors.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of web standards, responsive design techniques, and accessibility requirements.
  • Strong analytical capability to deconstruct dense, regulated materials and distill user-friendly solutions; visual finesse is desirable but secondary.
  • Experience working in highly complex domains such as fintech, healthtech, or legaltech.
  • Proven ability to work within existing design systems, focusing on scalable, reusable design components.
  • Active participant in design workshops and team-oriented problem solving.
  • Confident in articulating design rationale and defending decisions to various stakeholders, with English proficiency at C1 level or above.
  • Experience conducting usability tests and user interviews.
  • Proficient in Figma.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and eager to innovate and learn continuously.
  • Deep familiarity with integrating AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT into daily design workflows.
  • Experience in designing data visualizations and dashboards is advantageous.

What We Offer

  • Engaging professional and educational opportunities alongside technically interesting projects.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and a collegial environment that promotes enjoyable online and offline events.
