Medical Officer - Mediclaim Process (MBBS Only)

About the Role

This position involves working onsite at a US-based multinational corporation in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Medical Officer will meticulously review extensive patient medical records, conduct clinical evaluations following predefined methodologies, and generate comprehensive reports. These reports will detail chronologies, timelines, summaries, mass tort matrices, and professional medical opinions assessing case validity and valuation.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and summarize medical documents related to settlement projects before and after resolution.
• Translate clinical data accurately using appropriate medical terminology and diagnostics.
• Maintain alignment with company policies and nurture a positive organizational culture.
• Comply strictly with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
• Provide daily updates to the Medical Team Lead concerning productivity and work quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• MBBS degree holders, including fresh graduates and experienced candidates, are eligible to apply.
• Basic understanding of healthcare data analysis and clinical review techniques.
• Strong command of medical language, patient assessment, and clinical medicine principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel software tools.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and critical thinking abilities.
• Basic awareness of US culture and organizational behavior norms.
• Experience as a Medical Officer or Medical Team Lead is advantageous.
