Job Overview

Axcent Air Flow Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Project and Production Engineer for their Bengaluru location. The role involves comprehensive production planning and management, including overseeing subcontracting, procurement, and dispatch procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control production activities efficiently.
• Manage subcontractors and outsourced work effectively.
• Procure necessary raw materials timely to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee dispatch processes to maintain delivery schedules.
• Handle shop floor operations along with manpower management.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Hands-on knowledge or experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting, and powder coating.
• Skills in production planning, scheduling, assessing raw material requirements, and material planning.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and design documents accurately.
• Focused on meeting daily and monthly production targets steadily.
• Report regularly on production status and quickly address any issues arising in the process.
• Implement strategies to boost productivity while minimizing costs.
• Maintain a safe work environment with a strong focus on quality standards on the shop floor.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi, and English is mandatory for effective communication.
