We invite Mechanical Engineers passionate about water infrastructure to express interest in joining our New Zealand Pacific Water team. Utilizing our extensive global expertise, you'll help generate positive outcomes in water management aligned with sustainability and community wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations and develop solutions addressing complex water infrastructure issues, applying strong analytical abilities.
• Design detailed mechanical water systems, ensuring deep understanding of hydraulics and seamless integration within multidisciplinary projects involving water, wastewater, stormwater treatment plants, and pump stations.
• Apply knowledge of New Zealand Codes and Standards to guarantee project compliance and quality, while monitoring emerging industry trends and technologies.
• Communicate effectively through verbal and written means to convey ideas, collaborate with diverse teams, and engage clients for project success.
• Leverage CAD and modeling software expertise, including Inventor and AutoCAD, to lead precise and innovative mechanical water system designs.
• Employ lateral and practical thinking to craft creative, effective project solutions navigating technical challenges.
• Identify technical risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable, successful project delivery.
• Contribute within a collaborative team environment where your ideas and input significantly influence outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their objectives and tailoring solutions accordingly.

Additional Information

This position is open across multiple New Zealand locations including Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Hawkes Bay, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Tauranga, and Wellington. The work model is hybrid, requiring three days per week in-office presence to foster collaboration and connection within the vibrant team culture.
